A macabre girl laments about the inevitability of death after being given a melting cartoon character popsicle.Director StatementMy philosophy is to create the art I want to see in the world. I described “Melted” as the film I wanted to make since I was a kid. It shows that even an adorable, innocent little girl can have secret anxieties she’s dealing with inside. Growing up, I struggled a lot with anxiety and fear of death. “Melted” helped me confront those difficult feelings. It is a love letter to everything I’m a fan of- horror movies, stop motion, trippy animation, the color pink, ice cream, poetry, and more. I’m interested in combining the things I love to create something new.
Directed by Sunny Wai Yan Chan
Godspeed is a story about a mother saying goodbye to her son at the airport. The son wants a hug. Reserved, the mother refuses to reciprocate.
Director StatementGodspeed is about loss and what the loss implies. The characters are not feeling sad because they're parting: they're feeling sad because they almost miss the chance to make peace. And those chances don't stay there forever. When things get tough, only then can we realize and understand the significance of what we've lost, what we've wasted, what we took for granted, and how we can make up to it if only time permits.
Directed by Anisha Gupte
Zap, rumble, meow! Thunder Kitty is ready for a cat nap! But when she can’t sleep, she awakens Lightning Kitty, who takes some shocking action.

When a curious robot finds a seemingly worthless book, he discovers that the knowledge within is truly priceless.Directors StatementThe original concept for Stick to Manual grew from a rising concern in lost media, with a focus in works that became forgotten, misplaced, or destroyed throughout history. This is what ultimately inspired Martin Leon y Leon to write about a futuristic world in which a robot worker is tasked with archiving books. As the team grew and more aspects of the film solidified, the story became more about understanding the true meaning of value.
For two years, thirteen students at the University of Central Florida refined the story of Stick to Manual into a film the team is proud of. We hope you enjoy our film.
