PORTRAITS OF MY MOTHER

This is a documentary about my mother and the moment that changed her life. Through her narration, my mother confesses to me what she remembers from the moment she was raped as a child. By painfully recalling this traumatic event, she reflects on the sexual abuse of children and the scars that these events leave in a person's life.

Lovemaking

Lucie Vondráčková is a Czech popular singer and theatre and film actress. She has won a number of awards. She has been acting since she was 7 years old, she has played mainly in fairy tales and comedies. At the same time, she dubbed famous actresses, for example in the animated film Hotel Transylvania, The Chronicles of Narnia or in the series Glee and Dexter. She also is a very famous singer since she is coming from a musical family. In 2018 her latest album called Rose was released. Her newest single "Milování" (Lovemaking), which we are submitting here, is from this album.

Father of a Broken Angel

Mark's aspirations and desires shatter to pieces. Sadness, anger, aversion and denial fill Mark's life. Dissatisfied with his reality, Mark is touched by an inner force and decides to change the polarity of the problems that plague his life. All that martyrdom gives way to love, acceptance and affection. Mark's attitude ensures that he wins one of the most difficult battles of humanity, the fascinating victory over oneself. This beautiful story is told through one of the oldest existing languages: symbolism, the language with which the architect of the universe communicates with man.

diminuendo

Diminuendo visualizes the detrimental effects plastic waste has on marine life and the environment from an emotional point of view. Through visual metaphors, the viewer is guided through sceneries that get more and more covered by plastic. To emphasize the contrast between the natural world and the plastic world, the animation is done entirely with ink on paper, except for the plastic, which stands apart from the oceanic life in bright digital yellow. The two parts are united through the pulsing paper texture that shines through the semi-opaque yellow as a constant reminder of the underlying life it covers. But there is room for change. In the end, it is never too late for a helping hand.

Music has been living in Irkutsk Region Philharmonic Hall for 80 years already. The film tells us about the mission of a musician, about intergenerational continuity and how the hand of a master leads and directs his pupil. About the role of the conductor in the Symphony orchestra, the power of folk music, about the voices “flying to God”. Philharmonic music travels and gets to different parts of the world, and the rattling sound of tram becomes integral part of love and harmony (of Philharmonic).

ROHINGYA ''People from nowhere " Music Video

It is a Catastrophic story of a Rohingya girl. Who is a genocide survivor. Her whole family was killed and entire village was burnt down to ashes by the Burmese Army. She was brutally raped and callously tortured and was left to die in void but somehow she managed to escape and take refuge in the neighboring country. Where she is still waiting and continues to hope to go back to her own motherland one fine day. Through this song we aim to portray the pain and agony of humans depicted by other humans in the name of religion , caste and creed. How we have become inhuman towards others and choose to refrain from others feelings and emotions on the basis of Filthy political and Religious agenda's. When the Rohingya girls arrive in Bangladesh, they don’t know anything. They are so innocent, scared, and unaware and easy to manipulate and are forced into Prostitution whereas the young kids are driven towards terrorism. This song has been pictured on the backdrop of the biggest genocide of the recent times.

Sani - 2 Glasses

SANI is a singer, songwriter, producer and award winning film composer from Hamburg, Germany. He studied at Musician’s Institute Hollywood with a scholarship in Songwriting and Film Music and at Point Blank Music School in London. After graduating school, SANI has been composing music for several films and collaborating with other artists in different genres. In 2020 he will be launching his solo career with unique sounding Pop Songs being recorded at the legendary TRIXX Studios in Berlin.

ICH TRÄUM VON EINER FREMDEN WELT - I DREAM OF A FOREIGN WORLD

Two newly formed welcome classes, with children from Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon meet a German primary school class, in Berlin. Together with the theatre group ‘Drehbühne Berlin’ a play is created, about their own dreams and nightmares, over a two- week workshop. The film follows the theater group and their successful attempt to overcome language barriers and fear of contact, with the help of a specially created puppet. It accompanies the children on a journey towards their first performance and demonstrates the ease with which theatre can help these deeply traumatised children to overcome their “monsters”, through their own imagination. The film gives a glimpse into the children’s tragic stories and observes them, laughing, playing and not worrying about how integration can work.
