A Fresh Start

Logline: An earnest young woman's first virtual date leads to mayhem as both her and her suitor's hidden selves come to light.

Synopsis: Elizabeth is excited to jump back into the dating pool but her first attempt is with a self-centered, pseudo-hippie who just wants to brag about his homegrown tomatoes. But as the date progresses, she convinces herself to take a chance on him - until it all goes wildly awry as intrusions by her weirdly terrible ex-boyfriend lead to both Elizabeth and her date revealing their darkest selves. Elizabeth wants a fresh start, but it's going to come in a totally unexpected way.


Body and Soul

Hidden Voice

A symbolic figure of a woman is walking next to the sea. She wants to connect with the environment, feel the sun, breath the fresh air, when suddenly a strange sound disturbs her calm. The sound source is indefinite. The woman approaches the sea and the sound gets louder. The sound invites her to follow the source. She walks into the sea until her face touches the water. The woman now clearly hears voices, cries and screams of people that exhale out of the sea. A soundscape brings to her scenes from the rescue of refugees.


I'M A PEBBLE

Bubble a young otter, lives with three mossy stones and thinks of them as her family. Bulle imagines them as real otters, but as she becomes aware of their true nature, she has to face her loneliness.


IN BETWEEN

It's a late December night. Amalia is a career driven woman in her mid thirties and a mistress in a complicated love affair with a complicated man. While waiting to hear from her lover, Amalia encounters a 12 year old boy selling used books in the parking lot of a fast food drive through. She decides to "save" him from the long hours of waiting in the cold winter's night for his bus to arrive in the morning, by giving him a ride home. The more they drive into the night the less certain it is who is saving who...


I Wash My Hands In Innocence

Nick expresses his nerves in a call to his mother on his way to a meeting with Xander. His mother is busy and they agree to catch up after. Xander, a charming senior executive in the modelling industry hosts an evening of entertainment for the young wolf, Nick; a young and unknown future star. During dinner Xander plays his position. He gives Nick the good news of exciting upcoming work and offers career guidance by reflecting on his own missed opportunities. After dinner Nick is persuaded into a mini photo shoot, which leads upstairs for a clothing change and ends with Nick cornered against the headboard. Nick calls his mother, but decides not to share any of the details from the night.

On Women's Day 2020, Healthians told the world this inconvenient story through a film.

The film was shot in a remote village near Nashik city, featuring real sugarcane workers. It went live on Healthians’ social pages and asked people to raise their voices against this practice by signing a petition.

Within 48 hours, it got over a million views, Those who saw it expressed horror and concern. To date, the cause has almost 1,700 supporters. But injustice still prevails.
