Film(s) To Be Screened

#Nofilter

#Nofilter addresses the ever-growing issue surrounding Body Dysmorphic Disorder through the eyes of Beth, an insecure twenty-something, who becomes obsessed with an insidious filter,  leaving her to question true beauty. The film stars Kelly Lamor Wilson and Misha Osherovich from "Freaky."

Peter the Penguin

Starting off as a very British comedy of social embarrassment PETER THE PENGUIN veers off into something very weird and dark indeed. Grotesque, grimly funny, utterly absurd, yet genuinely nightmarish and really rather horrible, this is one you won't forget any time soon. And you will never look at a stuffed toy penguin in the same way again..

GUTS

Hunter's Cabin

A young father withdraws to a remote cabin to face his curse alone, but he's not the only one with a dark past in the woods tonight.

Crockpot

Terror awaits a young couple as they fight over going to the young mans parents house the next day for thanksgiving.

Come è entrato (Within)

The closed room appears inhospitable: it’s almost completely dark, there’s dust in the air, a mattress on the floor. A girl is laying there trapped between a few threads of light. She only wears a white, thin, kind of see-through nightgown. Outside the door, someone gets closer and closer. She can hear his steps, his breath. The footsteps stop. Then the door opens and the girl looks in front of her. The sign of remembrance is torn apart by immovable pain: memory is haunting her.

Directed by Matteo Ciotola and starring Arianna Del Gaudio, this Avant-garde B&W silent film makes the audience feel as claustrophobic as the lead character - through Retro visuals applied to contemporary themes.
