Sargashteh is a Persian word and in English means 'Perplexed'.


Terra

Terra or mother earth is a Goddess of the earth. The original earth Goddess in ancient times. The personification of nature focuses on giving and nurturing.

Irreversible

A country occupied by foreigners, and there is only one survivor left. The occupiers have changed everything: Streets, names, languages, flags... The survivors have been fighting for thirty-seven years. Endless war, with undeniable reality...


Just A Walk

This is a short walk along the colorful walls of Valiasr Street in Tehran, which from my perspective, is a metaphor for walking between parallel worlds!

Aging is near and loneliness is closer…


Vayu

Vayu is a dual mythical being that gives life as a breeze and takes life away as a storm. In their mourning rituals, the people of South Kurdistan appeal to Vayu, who caused them suffering by taking away one of their great men, to bless them with another. In this ritual, women scratch their faces with their own hands, like plowing a land, to be re-fertilized in the process and continue again...


Woodpecker

Humans who drown in social networks feed on each other's ruminants, but they never experience satiety.


The Book

During the pursuit of a writer in the streets of Tehran, a security officer encounters various crimes and delinquencies that are taking place. But his focus is on the writer!


Kefsan

Kefsan, a young Kurdish woman's husband Rahman was shot at the border by the border patrols while carrying cargo, and his spinal cord was severed from the neck. Kefsan decides to carry the next cargo on his behalf in order to get paid for their survival.


Now You See Me

A powerful story about the trauma and ultimate triumph of being a transgender female. "I didn’t use to be real. I was here, in the physical realm but no one could see me. My own Father had to squint his eyes when he looked at me and he would ask ‘Who are you over there? Don’t you know how to be a boy?" Allie, the transgender, identifying as female, goes home to try and reach out to her family. Instead, she comes away with a stronger new relationship, with a dress.


Traffic Signal Story

A lonely traffic light is always on the green at a busy intersection. It gets desperate due to cars passing by quickly without paying attention to it. After several attempts, it turns from green to red for the first time successfully but cannot return to green again. So, cars stop at the intersection and traffic becomes heavy. Hence, the vehicles protest and take their horns. The traffic light gets into a panic and all its lights turn off and all cars pass. The light feels overwhelmed but decides to change everything. It tries hard and succeeds to alter its lights normally. However, the cars realize the traffic light works regularly and is not permanently green anymore. So, the vehicles proceed to the intersection rarely.


The Sprayer

In the land occupied by the sprayer’s army, no one has the right to grow any kind of plants either in public or private. So many of the people and soldiers do not even know what plant grows or looks like until one day one of the soldiers finds a seed buried deep down in the dust and his curiosity is just the beginning of something extraordinary, something big, something revolutionary.


Parchin

A farmer's feelings for crop growth.


Freedom

A homeless man who by accident eats the "freedom" word from a waste paper of a book called "Freedom" becomes a writer in an imaginary world in which he is running away from ignorance and dark forces. In order to escape from the dark forces, he turns into a tree…

The Inversion

Tied by a tall rope, a man founds himself hanged into the big dark paving well from his leg. His efforts for getting rid of the rope and the situation is useless. Finding a weak small flare from a stone block into the wall, make another hope to the poor man.


My Iran

This music video is about Iranian customs and their national alliance. It represents the spirit of happiness in marriage which is one of the basic principles of any society.


Dog

A religious cleric that thinks dogs are impure, faces a dog on his trip in the desert…
