STAND DOWN

During World War II, B-17 Bomber airmen get ready to go on a mission over Germany, when they are ordered to stand down. This film follows the preparation of American airmen who must fly over Germany for a bombing raid, yet at the last minute, due to inclement weather, they are ordered not to begin the mission. The emotions of the airmen begin with anxiety, then turn to relief as they are ordered to stand down
