Full Synopsis

15 years after leaving home in disgrace, Khosabek returns to his childhood village, fulfilling a family obligation to care for his aging parents. Reminded of the shames from his past, he must win the heart of his father and overcome his own inner struggles to find the right path for his future. (55 min)

A culturally-rich family story, The Traveler is acted by the local Yaghnobi residents of the rugged and beautiful Pamir Mountains in Tajikistan. This heartfelt story offers hope to overcome life’s challenges and forgive the wrongs of the past to embrace new possibilities in the future.
