The Mechanic's Rose

A mother, suffering from a terminal illness, escapes hospice care to make a perilous journey across Newark NJ to attend her son's graduation.

Sons of Toledo

After receiving the early morning news of his younger brother’s murder, a mourning barber pushes through the muddy waters of grief to find the courage to do the impossible - give his brother one last cut.

Round Boxes

A female boxer must attend anger management therapy, but she is unwilling to open up to her therapist about the reason for her anger.

Maternity

When a second-time mother gets an unexpected complication postpartum, she must fight to save her life in the fractured American health care system.

Young Phoenix

Three young adults share their struggle with anxiety, depression, and alcoholism while battling to promote mental well-being among their peers. Poignant metaphoric visuals and poetic narrative uniquely portray the symptoms and emotions of these mental health conditions with an aim of destigmatization. From their darkest moments to their search for help, the film illustrates that there is light at the end of the tunnel and support is closer than you think.

What A Beautiful Wedding

What A Beautiful Wedding explores the psyche of a Black man who attends a white friend's Southern plantation wedding, and becomes haunted by its history.

Stoopin

Stoopin follows Wallace, a loan shark in Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn who uses his Brownstone stoop as his office. During the height of the pandemic, he finds his job performance being compromised by his drinking but he's unable to slow down. As his drinking worsens so does his ability to stay tethered to reality.

DADDY'S EYES

In this haunting tale of hope and despair, a mother and her daughter, separated for over twenty years by race, fame, and heroin addiction, struggle to find each other before it’s too late. This modern Greek tragedy examines the sacrifices that must be made to make it to the top of the music world.
