Black Men face obstacles in life like everyone else, but culture and stereotypes prevent us from talking about it, and dealing with it. In this film + panel discussion, we will talk about issue that affect black men, and how we can solve them as a community. Part of the JustUs Film Festival Panelist will include:

I'm Good Bro: Unmasking Black Male Depression

 In this film we address the historical impact of depression in its many forms. From the roots of slavery, those who were formally incarcerated, the impact on day to day personal and professional relationships, and the effects on and from the church. This documentary follows the journey of individuals with firsthand experience dealing with depression from the perspective of those who have personally dealt with or who have been diagnosed with the disease. This film also provides professional insight from counselors, license professional therapists and spiritual advisers.

This is a candid conversation with a group of men from different parts of the world and in different careers talking about their own experience with race, career and self love.
